Now I want to help you feel more organized and transform from overwhelmed to having
peace of home and mind.

I'm normally quite private. But I want you know a bit about me before we work together. Currently I live in Chicago's Ravenswood neighborhood. I'm a wife and momma to one son and a cat. We own an A-frame home built in 1902. Although the house is not perfect, my goal has been to leverage the built-in storage and create organization using boxes and drawer dividers so that I maximize the function with a clean look. I strive for a home that is joyful, simple and comforting.
Prior to learning about Marie Kondo's KonMari Method®, when I looked around my home all I could see was stuff I needed to do. I busied myself with moving things around my home. Yet, the mess was always there, and I never felt like I had the clean slate I needed to really relax. We all accumulate stuff for many reasons, one of which can occur because we experience the loss of a loved one and we are left to deal with their belongings, which is what happened to me. What I know now is how to navigate the mountain of items by keeping what is most cherished and letting go of the rest. My light at the end of the tunnel has been the KonMari Method®. This method of tidying inspired and motivated me to succeed in creating my family's most functional, calm and comforting space, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome.
Now I'm a KonMari® Consultant-in-Training, and I want to help you get through the clutter, see what matters most to you, and achieve an organized home. Let's envision your ideal lifestyle and organize within the framework of your home so that you can relax (with a hot cup of tea/coffee while actually sitting down).

Let's envision your ideal home. We work together to declutter and organize your home to facilitate your lifestyle transformation. If you wish to tidy top-to-bottom and feel complete joy in your home, plan for 8 sessions together. Each session is 3-4 hours. This upfront purchase helps you commit to the entire process.
We work together to set a vision for your home. We tidy with the KonMari Method® in mind. In the process, learn and tune what sparks joy for you. Give yourself the calm home you deserve. One session is 3 hours minimum. If you book 5 sessions upfront, pay only $55hr.
I provide you with information about the KonMari Method® with focus on learning how to fill your home with items that sparks joy. Ideally, we work along side each other to create order and function.
However, we can discuss custom one-off spaces that you need me to organize for you. One session is a minimum 3 hours @ $60/hr.
*All services do not require a consultation, and includes removal of donated items that fit in my trunk.
We tidy your home by category as follows: 1. your clothing/shoes/bags/hats 2. books 3. papers 4. miscellaneous items in the kitchen, bathroom, closets, electronics, etc. 5. sentimental items. As we go, we ask what sparks joy for you? How do you feel about each item? Items that make you excited and that you see in your future will occupy your home and we let go of the rest. You get better at learning what sparks joy for you as you go through the process. Imagine a home filled only with items you love.
I can help. We discuss your goals for donations, selling and giving away items and come up with a plan. I can take the items you designate for donation to a local charity. Bottom line is that it feels great when someone else just moves these items out of your home so that you don't have to think about it.
Japanese entrepreneur and organizer, Marie Kondo, uses this phrase to help us trust our intuition and learn ourselves and what makes us happy. Our material possessions hold energy and when we connect with those items, this brings us a spark of joy (literally, the cells in our bodies rise). We keeps items that spark joy, and in turn, our home brightens and brings us peace.
First, you don't need to clean. Second, you could save boxes from shoes, jewelry or phones or ask friends for boxes. Most importantly, you need to plan for the time commitment to change your space and life. In addition to spending time with me, you will need additional time to go through your belongings and feel what sparks joy. I do my best to make this process fun and rewarding for both of us.
Payment can be made via Venmo or Zelle and is due in full at the time of scheduling your first session. We work over email to schedule the payment.
