House of the Good Shepherd is a catholic charity that tailors support to individual families in need. Their online wish list of very good items is quite specific but they do accept all women's size clothing, housewares and toiletries. Located just north of Wrigley Field, call 773-935-3434 for direct address. Easy drop off! Any items they don't use, get passed along to St. Vincent dePaul.
Dress for Success Worldwide - Central accepts gently used women's professional attire, shoes and bags. Drop off at 70 East Lake, Suite 900 must be scheduled and is limited to 20 items. Must be on hangers and in the current season. Use link to get to their appt scheduler.
New Moms - support young moms who experience homelessness and poverty. Drop off at 5317 W Chicago Ave, Chicago, IL 60651, Office hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm. Also accepts new unexpired canned and boxed food, diapers, wipes and more new items listed in their Full Guidelines. Schedule your drop off in advance.
